Association Aims

As an organisation it is our aim, wherever possible to endeavour to maintain, research and proliferate Balintawak Arnis. To this end we, as the organisation, will teach any person who approaches the organisation.

Our only requirement in every student is that they are of good character and that they approach this art in a serious manner, fully aware that it should only be used for the positive enrichment and protection of the individual.

All students should and will be actively encouraged to grow at their own pace, there should never be any secrets in Balintawak, everything should be explained, nothing should be done because its traditional or because it has always been done that way. Everything that is done should be explained, if not, then it is not fully understood.

All students will be actively empowered to research and consider Balintawak personally; the organisation will never consider a question or criticism to be negative. Without thought and contemplation, the art of Balintawak will not grow and flower, as we believe it can.

Our students will become the seeds of the next generation of Balintawak practitioners without them the art will never evolve. The art of Balintawak Arnis will evolve and continue in the spirit that it was handed down to us. It will remain alive.
